A man who robbed two banks is headed to prison for the next 235 months.

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- A man who robbed two banks is headed to prison for the next 235 months.

That's close to 20 years.

Alvin Lipsey, 55, of Mishawaka pleaded guilty to a 2012 armed robbery at a Notre Dame Federal Credit Union branch in South Bend.

He also admitted to robbing a First Source Bank in South Bend in 2011.

In addition to the prison sentence, Lipsey will pay more than $4,000 in restitution to the two companies.
