Mishawaka Police asking for help in locating two robbery suspects

MISHAWAKA, Ind.--- The Mishawaka Police Dept. is asking for the public's help in finding two black males who are suspected of carrying out an armed robbery late Friday evening.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Lincolnway W. at the 100 Center parking lot.

A male victim informed police that he was picking up food with his wife when two black males approached them.

One of the male subjects was armed with a gun.

The suspect with the gun pointed it at the male victim while the other suspect entered the victims car and went through the glove box.

The victim told police that an indeterminate amount of money was missing and a cell phone was taken during the robbery.

Officers searched the area, but were unable to find the two suspects.

One suspect is described as a 19 year old skinny black male, approximately 5'8", 130 pounds and wearing a white t-shirt.

The second suspect is described a black male wearing a hoodie with the hood covering his head.

Police are asking anyone with information about this crime to come forward.
