Latin Davis scored 34 points to push the Milan Big Reds past the Benton Harbor Tigers 78-59 to capture the Michigan Boys Class B state championship on Saturday at the Breslin Center.
Davis finished 13 of 17 from the field. He went seven for seven from the three-point line to tie the state record for most three-pointers made in a state final.
Nick Perkins added 24 points and 10 rebounds for Milan (25-3).
Milan, who led by as many as 10 in the first half, led 43-35 at halftime.
John Robinson Jr. led Benton Harbor (18-9) with 19 points. Jaton Gunn added 16 and Cortez More chipped in with 13.
The Big Reds outscored the Tigers 22-11 in the third quarter.
