Michigan leaders push state to make pseudoephedrine prescription only

Allegan County, Mich. Could making pseudoephedrine a prescription-only medication help fight the meth war?

That's the question some are asking in southwest Michigan.

According to our reporting partners at WSJM Radio, police and Allegan County commissioners are pushing the idea to state lawmakers; but there's a concern that it could have a negative effect on surrounding counties, including those in Michiana.

Michigan Senator John Proos says he worried about increases in trafficking, especially in border counties like Berrien and Cass.
