Michigan House passes rifle legislation for hunters

The Michigan House of Representatives has taken a positive step for deer hunters.

The House overwhelmingly approved a bill that would allow hunters to use rifles in areas that are currently limited to shotguns, muzzle loaders and pistols.

The vote was 106 to 2 in favor of the bill, which now goes to the Senate for consideration.
