Despite the rain, Michiana got down to the sounds of country Saturday night.
It was all part of Country Fest at Four Winds Field. The concert featured acts like J.T. Hodges, Jo De Messina and Big and Rich with Cowboy Troy.
"The most exciting thing about this, we're drawing people from really within a 60 mile radius of South Bend that are coming to downtown and having a chance to check out our beautiful facility but also have the chance to enjoy a great night of country music," said Joe Hart, President of the South Bend Silver Hawks.
Country Fest was put on by the South Bend Silver Hawks, South Bend Parks and Recreation and B100.
Part of the proceeds of Country Fest will benefit the construction of Miracle Park, a recreational facility for special needs families.
"This is a great city venue. We want to be a community gathering point not just for baseball," said Hart.
