Residents around Michiana celebrated the Easter holiday at church services throughout the area.
Members, friends and guests of the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church gathered at the Century Center for morning service.
It is the fourth consecutive year the church has joined to worship at the Century Center.
The church normally has close to 400 people present for each service, but Easter Sunday has more attendees.
Services were held at Washington High School until the congregation grew to over 1,000 attendees.
Notre Dame's Basilica also held services this morning.
People filed in to the church and in a matter of minutes the sanctuary was standing room only.
