The history of this Notre Dame - Miami rivalry is ferocious, but a couple of fans set aside their differences Saturday.
University of Miami grad Kyle Nettesheim, proposed to South Bend native and diehard Notre Dame fan Ali Nellis in front of family and friends at their tailgate before Saturday's game at Soldier Field in Chicago.
The couple said the special game was the perfect setting to make it official.
