SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- All the paperwork is out of the way for a high speed internet upgrade between South Bend and Plymouth.

That's the message given to Marshall County Commissioners this week, according to our reporting partners atWKVI.

Some of that paperwork included approval by the City of South Bend to place a conduit containing high-speed line on the Michigan Rd. right of way.

Marshall County has already awarded a company with a contract to install their portion of the lines.

The Metronet currently stops at Ireland Rd. in South Bend.
