Meteor lights up central Indiana sky

It's something you don't see often, a meteor bright enough to light up the sky.

The above video was captured by a Hoosier in Greenwood, Indiana. Greenwood is located about three hours south of South Bend, near Indianapolis.

The American Meteor Society monitors things like this. The group says shooting stars are seen more often this time of year.
