South Bend, Ind. South Bend is considering some major changes to the main streets through the city, and now officials want the public to take a look at the research.
They are holding a public hearing this Thursday at the Century Center on restoring two-way streets.
Mayor Buttigieg says he's seen evidence that changing the way we drive through downtown, would help support local businesses.
Thursday, some of that evidence will be presented. Some council members have voiced their opposition to the plan. They say the money to change the streets would be better spent elsewhere.
