A dangerous fugitive who was on the run for weeks has now been found.
Marshall County Police say 42-year-old William Newman was arrested at a residence in Argos just before 6 Wednesday night. They found him thanks to an anonymous tip about his whereabouts.
Newman was originally wanted on drug charges out of Fulton County.
Back on December 11th, he led police on a high-speed chase, which ended in a rural field, about five miles northwest of Plymouth. A manhunt was launched with canines and a state police airplane, but Newman escaped.
He has now been found and is in custody at the Marshall County Jail.
