One man remains in critical condition after a two-car accident in Cass County sent several people to the hospital on Friday evening.
It happened around 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of Dailey Road and Pokagon Highway in Lagrange Township.
Police say New York resident, William Reed, 57, was traveling north on Dailey with his son when he entered the intersection right into oncoming traffic colliding with another car that was heading east on Pokagon.
Reed was airlifted to the hospital and is in critical condition. His son was also hospitalized but has since been released.
The driver of the other vehicle, Jason Weber, 35, of Dowagiac, and his children, were taken to the hospital, where they were all treated and released.
Another passenger, Erika Weber, 25, of Dowagiac, was transferred to a hospital in Kalamazoo for further treatment. She has since been released.
