Man sentenced in drive-by shooting of Cornelius Miller

One of five people charged in a fatal drive-by shooting two years ago was sentenced Wednesday. Stephon Rice is charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. So are four others Brittney Watson, Steven Rice, Brandon Rogers and Rene Vasquez.

Police say on November 30, 2010, Vasquez drove the others to Cornelius Miller's home on South Lombardy, where they shot him. Miller and Watson had apparently gotten into a fight earlier.

Wednesday, Rice was sentenced to 35 years to be served in the department of corrections.
