A Bristol man is behind bars on Wednesday night in connection with a bizarre break-in where he allegedly dozed off in the middle of a crime.
That is according to our reporting partners at WKVI Radio.
Travis Hill, 35, was arrested on Monday in the 1300 block of W. Madison St. on Plymouth’s west side. He is accused of forcing open a window to get into a home, and then falling asleep inside.
The homeowners, who had spent the night away, made the startling discovery when they returned.
Police say Hill had previously been in an abusive relationship with one of the residents.
He is now facing preliminary charges of residential entry and criminal mischief. He is being held in the Marshall County Jail on $5,000 bond.
