Speed is a factor in a crash overnight that ejected the driver from his vehicle and sent him to the hospital.
It happened just before 11p.m. on Red Bud Trail near Little Glendora Road in Buchanan Township in Berrien County.
Police say 32-year-old Dustin Burger of Buchanan was speeding and lost control. The car went off the road and hit a tree, ejecting burger.
He was transported to a South Bend hospital. Officers say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
So far there's no word on Burger's condition.
