Man dies in horse-drawn vehicle accident

Goshen, Ind. One man is dead after a car hit a horse-drawn vehicle Monday afternoon.

Police responded to the call around 5:30 p.m. Monday on State Road 119 near County Road 40 in Goshen.

Police have said that Ammon Imhoff was using horses to pull a farm-implement, when a woman driving a Nissan Quest rear ended it, launching Imhoff out onto the ground. He was later pronounced dead later at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to IU Health Goshen complaining of chest pain.

The Elkhart County Sheriffs Department is still investigating the crash.
