More disturbing details are being released in a child molestation case out of Michigan City.

Daniel Cabrera-Pozadas, 18 of Byron Center, Michigan is accused of molesting an 11-year-old girl.

Police found them together in a hotel at Blue Chip Casino.

According to the Northwest Indiana Times, officers say the incident was all part of a "love pact" between Cabrera-Pozadas and the girl.

The LaPorte County prosecutor says they wanted to die together. Both had slashed wrists and had overdosed on pain medication.

The girl is now in protective custody.

Cabrera-Pozadas remains in jail on charges of felony child molesting, as police investigate how he and the victim knew each other.
