SOUTH BEND, Ind. A man charged in a deadly home invasion got his trial delayed Tuesday.

The trial for Mario McGrew, 28, was scheduled for March 24.

He faces burglary and felony murder charges in the death of Michael Jackson, 40, last October.

Tuesday in court, the judge granted a continuance and the trial is now scheduled for June 30.

Police believe Jackson and McGrew were among a group of men trying to break into a home on Warrick Street, just east of Notre Dame.

The homeowner was shot too, but survived.

Shawn Alexander, 36, and De'Andre Moore, 19, also face burglary and felony murder charges in the incident.

Their trials are set for April.
