Man charged with felonies after police standoff Thursday

North Judson, Ind. A North Judson man has been formally charged after a standoff earlier this week.

It started around 5:30 Wednesday night at a home in the 400 block of SR10, also known as Talmer Avenue.

Warren Chapman, 48, barricaded himself inside his home with a gun.

Police say Chapman fired three shots into his living room floor, while his brother in law was inside the home.

He got out before the police arrived.

According to our reporting partners at WKVI, Chapman has been charged with criminal recklessness and resisting law enforcement, both felonies.

He is in the Starke County Jail on $50,000 bond.
