A man on probation for breaking into a Plymouth home is now behind bars.

On Friday, police responded to the 200 block of Baker St. after a resident said a man had broken into his house. He said the burglar was running toward Centennial Park and that he was in pursuit.

That’s when police found Jeffrey Lusch, 57.

Lusch reportedly used a crowbar to open the homeowner’s back door and took off with some cash. Police found the money with Lusch and the crowbar inside the home.

Lusch then admitted to breaking in and stealing the money.

He is now charged with burglary and theft which are both felonies.
