Man arrested in Hamlet meth lab bust

After an 8-month investigation, a man has been arrested for a meth bust in hamlet.

Hamlet police issued a search warrant where an active meth lab was found. Police had apparently been investigating the home of Corbin Gayheart on the 300 block of West Pearl Street in Hamlet for manufacturing methamphetamines.

Gayheart was arrested at his home in Hamlet around 9:00 pm on Sunday.

The Indiana State Police Meth Lab team was called and arrived around 1:00 am to contain the Meth Lab. Corbin was facing previous charges of Over purchase of Pseudoephedrine.

Gayheart faces preliminary charges of, Manufacturing methamphetamines , Possession of Methemphetimines, Possession of methamphetamines within 1000 feet of Park, Possession of Precursors and Maintaining a common nuisance.
