SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A South Bend man accused in the shooting death of his brother was arraigned on Monday.
William Anderson, 54, was charged with voluntary manslaughter last Friday in connection with a shooting last Wednesday.
On Monday, Anderson’s hearing was set for January.
Late last Wednesday night, police were sent to the 300 block of S. Chestnut in South Bend. That was where they found Anderson’s 48 year-old brother, Wayne, with a gunshot wound.
After Wayne died at the hospital, the case was handed over to Metro Homicide, who interviewed witnesses and arrested William Anderson.
Police believe it all started with a fight at the home.
Anderson's bond has been set at $100,000.
