A man accused of holding up a gas station in downtown Coloma last month appeared in a Florida courtroom on Friday after he was caught by authorities on Thursday.
Martin Hinrichs, 23, was arrested in Daytona Beach, Florida, after he allegedly threatened to assault another man on a boardwalk.
Officers say he was drunk and resisted arrest, even breaking the back window of a patrol car on his way to jail.
The search for Hinrichs began back on Sept. 20 when police say he walked into the Wesco gas station on N. Paw Paw St. wearing a zombie mask. He then pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the clerk.
Surveillance video shows him leaving the scene with some cash.
Hinrichs was booked into the Volusia County Jail in Florida on charges of assault, disorderly conduct and providing a false name upon arrest.
He will later be extradited back to Michigan to face charges of armed robbery and unlawful imprisonment.
