Man accused of peeping into bathroom has trial date set

ST. JOSEPH Co.--- A trial date has been set for a man accused of peeping into a women's bathroom.

David Swallows Summerfield, 73, will go on trial in St. Joseph County on October 13, with a record date set for September 29.

He is charged with Theft, a Class D felony, and Voyeurism, a Class B misdemeanor.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred in a fourth floor bathroom at Saint Mary's College Le Mans Hall.

Summerfield was seen peeping into the bathroom by another employee of the college.

He is also being charged with the alleged theft of student's clothing out of the laundry room.
