The man accused of murdering a tattoo artist was back in court Thursday.

Todd Stewart, 35, is accused of killing Mark Miller, 44, last September.

Two weeks later, Miller's body was found inside a barrel in the St. Joseph River in Elkhart County.

Stewart was arrested by Elkhart police eight months after the crime, but Miller's family said they suspected him all along.

Police say the men were business partners.

According to the prosecutor's office, Stewart shot Miller before stuffing him in the barrel and dumping it in the river.

If convicted, Stewart faces up to 65 years in prison.
