A 75-year-old man is dead after a Wednesday afternoon accident in Elkhart, according to our reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

ELKHART, Ind.- A 75-year-old man is dead after a Wednesday afternoon accident in Elkhart, according to our reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

Daryll Trowbridge died in the crash that involved two vehicles.

The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of California and Nappanee.

Crews blocked off Nappanee Street between Beardsley and Randolph, as well as California Road, between Alma and Kent.

Two other people, including the wife of the man who died, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries from the crash.
