Two local cancer care centers announced Thursday they are offering patients a new tool to detect cancer.
Cancer Care Partners, a partnership between Goshen Center for Cancer Care and the South Bend Clinic, is now using the 64-slice pet/ct.
It delivers head to foot body imaging, which helps reveal tumors as small as a grain of rice.
Cancer Care Partners is the first in the state to offer this testing.
