Local winery holds annual art and wine festival

Michigan's wine country is typically geared toward those 21 and over. But, one winery is offering some family-friendly fun this holiday weekend.

Lemon Creek Winery is hosting its annual Memorial Day Weekend Art and Wine Festival. Live music entertained visitors as they sampled wine and checked out the different booths.

From jewelry to wine-themed art, the festival is a wine lover's paradise.

“Everything here is like one of a kind because it is made by us the vendors,” says vendor Harriet Farwell. “Even though there’s glass in different booths, nothing is the same. They're all different. Everything here is going to appeal to all different people. It’s fun to see what everybody's done this year.”

The festival continues Sunday from noon to six.
