Local political organizations know who they are rooting for in Wednesday's debate

The two men that would be president will face off in a debate Wednesday night.

President Barack Obama and Republican Challenger Mitt Romney will debate at the University of Denver.

The debate, moderated by PBS Newshour host Jim Lehrer, will focus on domestic policy. The format will divide the time into six 15 minute segments.

Local political organizations say they know who they are supporting.

“I'm supporting President Obama, and I'm supporting him, because I think he has led a real comeback,” said St. Joseph County Democratic Chairman John Broden. “We were losing 750,000 jobs the month he was sworn in, and now we've had 35 months of job growth , private sector job growth so jobs are coming back."
