The ninth annual Making Strides against Breast Cancer this past weekend was another success, bringing in more than 2,100 people.
On top of that, $140,000 was raised.
One of the groups helping was Clay Fire Territory. Firefighters brought their pink fire truck to sell pink apparel for cancer. Fire Marshal Dave Cherrone tells us they sold $1,800 worth of shirts in just two hours.
All of the money will be donated to young survivors helping woman under the age of 40.
Cherrone says they will continue selling the clothing all year long. T-shirts are $20 and sweatshirts are $30.
