Lawyers discuss next move in Jodi Parrack cold case

CENTREVILLE, Mich. -- Lawyers met behind closed doors Tuesday to determine how to move forward with a case connected to 11-year-old Jodi Parrack's 2007 murder.

In April, 46-year-old Raymond McCann was arrested for perjury related to the case.

McCann was a reserve officer with the Constantine Police Department when Jodi was killed. Police say he's been a "person of interest" in the investigation ever since.

McCann's accused of lying to police in the days and weeks following Jodi's murder. But, he isn't being called a suspect in the case.

Lawyers met in St. Joseph County, Mich. Tuesday to determine how the case will move forward. The District Court is waiting on paperwork in order to officially set McCann's next court appearance.
