LaGrange Co. police looking for man wanted for numerous charges

Lagrange Co., Ind. LaGrange County police are trying to track down a man wanted for a long list of charges, after a high-speed chase -- turned crash -- turned drug bust.

It all unfolded just after 9 p.m. Friday when an officer tried to pull over this four-door Pontiac Grand Prix for speeding along CR 100 East near CR 300 North.

The driver, Jason Adkins, 33, didn't stop and eventually wrecked his car down the road after crashing into a number trees and fence posts.

As police pulled up to the scene, Adkins was seen running away into a swamp.

He left behind his two passengers, Brianne Benac, 20, and Jeremy Brock, 27, both suffered minor injuries.

Police arrested the pair on a slew of drug-related charges after finding meth-making materials strewn throughout the car, but never found Adkins.
