Kody Oliver, 16, is facing charges of child molestation and rape.
The incident in question happened on November 26, at a house on S. Main St. in Lakeville. A 13-year-old girl says she was raped there by Oliver.
Because of the rape charge, the case bypassed any juvenile court proceedings and Oliver will be treated as an adult. Each charge carries a sentencing range of 6-20 years.
Both Oliver and the victim are students at LaVille High School.
