Kelly: Irish have 'unfinished business'

The Notre Dame football team sported its new theme at their BCS Selection Show Sunday.

"Unfinished Business" was written on each t-shirt worn by players.

Notre Dame is 12-0 and ranked #1 in the country. The Irish will face Alabama January 7th in Miami for the national championship.

"We wanted to display where we are and the mindset is, I came before our football team and essentially said what do you want to do? 12-0 is this it? Are we going to just kind of flim flam our way through the next 2 3 4 weeks," Kelly said Sunday. "if that's the case lets get that our right now and we will have a nice break here and we will go bowling a lot and we will do those nice trips that you all want down to South Beach or do you want to finish this thing off. So let me know so we can move forward."

"It was a pretty clear statement that they have some unfinished business. So that is why we went with the theme of unfinished business with our football team and clearly you know getting to 12-0 is one thing but finishing it off 13-0 is what this team wanted to do so that is the significance of these."
