Judge grants continuance for trial of Xavier Primm

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.--- One of the people charged in connection with the death of 2-year-old John Swoveland Jr. was in court Monday morning.

Xavier Primm, 23, was granted a continuance Monday, and the jury trial which was slated to start Monday was vacated.

A record date is now scheduled for October 30, and Primm's trial is set to begin on November 17.

Primm is charged with Assisting a Criminal, a Class C Felony, in connection with the April 9, 2014 shooting death of John Swoveland Jr.
