Beginning on September 21, the last day of summer, John Glenn High School celebrates fall with their annual Falloween festival.
The fundraising event includes food, games, special activities and entertainment.
Organizers work for a year preparing for the event, which resembles a small County Fair surrounding John Glenn High School.
The proceeds go to the students to raise money for college scholarships. Carnival rides and homemade food are just some of the highlights.
“The Grand Parade, that's a parade that encompasses about 70 units and marching bands,” says the Falloween Co-Chair and John Glenn Principal William Morton. “Of course this time of year, politicians they love to be here, and a lot of groups, and Boy Scouts and community organizations they put together floats.”
One of the main highlights is the fireworks show on Saturday night.
