Sounds of smooth jazz will float around the city with a heart next weekend.
The Elkhart Jazz Festival is celebrating its 27th year. A nationally acclaimed tradition festival co-chair, David Smith, is happy to continue.
"Jazz festivals in and among themselves don't have a lot of longevity. So it's nice to see it at 27 years and growing," Smith said.
One of the community's largest employers, Forest River, is taking a major role in this year's festival.
Around 100 artists, located all across the globe, will make their way to Michiana in order to perform.
"It is a local festival to us locally, but it is nationally redound," Smith said.
