Dozens of folks enjoyed the sweet sounds of jazz music Wednesday night, as seven area high schools banded together.
Jamming Saxes and roaring trumpets filled the stage at the South Bend Community School Corporation's annual Jazz Soundsations Concert at Adams High School.
The performance featured the jazz bands of Adams, Clay, Riley and Washington High Schools, as well as those from LaSalle Academy, Dickenson Fine Arts Academy and Jefferson Traditional School.
Organizers say it's great to see students come together to celebrate their dedication and love of music.
The students were also joined on stage by another group of talented musicians, the Faculty Jazz Ensemble.
