The EPA says the clean-up of an oil spill near the BP refinery in Whiting is over.
The assessment team comprised of representatives from the Coast Guard, Environmental Protection Agency, and BP.
After an inspection, investigators determined the small amount of oil found this past Sunday has been removed by clean-up crews.
This week, underwater surveys also took place probing 36 different locations at the bottom of Lake Michigan.
The team did not find any oil.
Around 1,600 gallons of oil poured into Lake Michigan on March 24.
