Relatives of a 6-week-old boy whose father told police the infant was abducted by a man and woman gathered for a prayer vigil four days after the child vanished.

The parents of Delano Wilson joined relatives and community leaders for Saturday's vigil outside the family's Indianapolis home.

The Indianapolis Star reports the Rev. Malachi Walker urged anyone who knows about the child's whereabouts to come forward. He told the gathering "we pray that this child is alive."

Twenty-three-year-old Willie Wilson told police a man and woman knocked him out in an alley near his home Wednesday and abducted his son.

An Amber Alert for the infant was issued Wednesday, but was canceled Friday because police said it was no longer effective in bringing in leads in the case.
