An Indiana woman faced an unusual punishment Friday after pleading guilty to two counts of child neglect.

Police say Jennifer Gist, 28, neglected her children on two separate occasions in 2012 and 2013.

Last week, Gist pleaded guilty to the charges.

She was originally sentenced to spend twenty weekends in the Pike County Jail, but after entering a plea agreement, the court ruled if Gist spent one hour wearing a sandwich-style sign in front of the courthouse, her sentence would be cut in half.

Her sign read, "Do you know where your toddlers are at 3:25 a.m."
