INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The bill that would allow parents to keep guns in their cars while on school property was debated in the Indiana senate on Monday.

House and Senate negotiators spent the morning grilling an opponent of the gun measure.

It is currently a felony to have a gun on school property.

The issue is just one of many top-tier things that are expected to be wrapped up by the end of the week.
