Icy roads lead to crash involving school bus

Elkhart County, Ind. Slick roads led to a crash involving a school bus Tuesday morning. It happened just after 8 a.m. in Goshen.

A truck driven by 43-year-old Randy Johnson of Goshen was headed southeast on Wilden Avenue, attempting to make a right turn; but he slid on some ice, and ran into a Concord Community Schools bus driving northbound on Greene Road.

The truck driver was given a warning about reducing speed for conditions. He was not injured.

The bus driver, 53-year-old Elna Hussey of Goshen, had some minor injuries. No children were on the bus at the time of the accident.
