Goshen, Ind. A historic home may make it easier for those in Goshen to have easier access to health care.
I.U. Health Goshen plans to purchase the Abshire Mansion and convert it into a second site for its partner Maple City Health Care. It's now up to the board of zoning appeals to approve the move.
Maple City Health Care is a non-profit organization that was established in 1988. It currently serves 5,000 people, but is looking for room to grow. If approved, the new site is expected to be open in late 2014 or early 2015.
