Homeland Security in Ind. standing by for Hurricane

Homeland Security officials in Indiana are mobilizing forces to provide assistance to those impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

The organization has set crews on standby for whatever may be needed after the storm. In addition to Homeland Security, Elkhart County Red Cross Executive Director Frank Connolly is also lending a helping hand to the storm efforts.

Connolly left for New York City on Saturday after he was asked to lead all sheltering activity in New York State.
