The holiday season is in full swing, and that means complete chaos for retail stores. If you’re hoping to avoid the crowds and find you unique gifts to give this season, you might want to check out Soup of Success’s Holiday Gift Basket Open House.

Michiana residents can browse through a variety of gifts that include soup packets, Christmas décor and candles. After selecting their desired items, they are then able to arrange them in holiday baskets.

The Open House runs Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Elkhart. The Soup of Success Program Open House is located in Elkhart on Oakland St. near Indiana St.

Baskets will vary in price depending on what’s inside them. All proceeds from today’s event will go to continue running the Soup of Success Program. This program was created to empower women through education and resources, build self-esteem, develop independence, and improve quality of life.

It is a program associated with Church Community Services.
