ELKHART One of the oldest buildings with ties to Elkhart's RV legacy may soon be torn down.

TEXT reports that the city of Elkhart is looking into demolishing the old Schult Warehouse, located in the 1800 block of S Main. The three-story building is still used as a warehouse, but it is falling into disrepair.

The warehouse was built in the late 1800’s and is believed to be the original home of the Noyse Carriage Company. It was used as a trailer manufacturing plant starting in1936. It switched to RV manufacturing after World War II.
