High school wrestling and swimming action from Tuesday night

In high school wrestling action on Tuesday night, the third-ranked Penn Kingsman took on seventh-ranked Mishawaka.

Penn’s Kobe Wood entered the night as the third-ranked wrestler in the state at 195. It was no problem for him on Tuesday night as he took down Chase Deal by tech fall 19-4.

In the 285 class, Penn’s Cory Christman pinned Brandon Madera.

Penn beat Mishawaka by a final score of 48-20.

In swimming action, the two schools were at it again.

In the boys’ 200-yard freestyle, Penn freshman Colin Lucero Dixon came in first as the boys won the meet 141-43.

For the girls, Texas A&M-bound Bethany Galat cruised to a win in the 100-yard backstroke as the Penn girls won 144-42.
