A supersized Titanic exhibit gives visitors in Michigan a sense of life on the doomed ship on the 100th anniversary of its sinking.
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is on display at the Henry Ford Museum near Detroit.
The 10,000 square foot exhibit features replicas of the grand staircase and staterooms along with more than 300 actual artifacts from the ship.
Mike Moseley, from the Henry Ford Museum, says the exhibits contains, “Personal effects, a suitcase, a pair of glasses, and sets of dishes. It connects people to this amazing personal reality of that tragedy."
The exhibit is on display at the museum until September 20th.
